Learn more about the Basset Hound. What a happy girl Clementine is! She is a beautiful 6 year old Basset Hound rescued from a life of breeding in a puppy mill. Clementine was rushed to the vet when she was in distress giving birth - she lost all the puppies and was immediately spayed. Once the breeder knew that , he wanted her euthanized. Ummmm no way. This dog was DONE being used to make you money mister - this dog is gonna be a PET!! And here she is! Clementine LOVES people - her foster mom said she is always near here and her tail is always wagging! She loves to be outside, fresh air is new to her. This will help with housetraining - please expect accidents as she learns and adjusts. She is doing ok on the leash but will need additional training. A fenced yard would be ideal. She is crate trained. Clementine is good with other dogs and likes kids. She is good in the car too! Although Clementine seems to be ok as an only dog, another one in the home would be nice too. Mill dog survivors do much better with other dogs! Clementine is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and dewormed. Her adoption fee is $325. Please apply on our website if you would like to be Clementine's Valentine!
