Learn more about the Miniature Pinscher.

Dear John came to us from Texas, a long long way for such a small old man.  He was a stray found in a home alone after his owner went to jail.  We were asked for help and there was no way we could leave him behind.  We know that someone in the rescue friendly north would love this boy!  John is about 10 years old and 11 pounds.  He is a Min Pin and is sight impaired.

John is a sweet gent!  He is happy to lay on his bed or in his crate snoozing the day away!  John is leash trained and crate trained.  He is working on his housetraining - he is recently neutered and will need a good routine to continue.  John is ok with other dogs as long as they are not rowdy with him - he is not going to play, he wants a companion to snuggle with!  Kids are fine as long as they are respectful to his size and sight issues.  He will get startled if approached suddenly by a person or dog - he needs to know that you are there!  He is good with cats.  John would like a home that is as relaxed as he is - and maybe someone to go for walks with occasionally!

John is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated, heartworm neg.  His adoption fee is $100 - please apply on our website if you would like to give him a place to spend his golden years!

Johnny's adoption fee has been sponsored for $25 - you can now adopt him for $75!!  Thank you to a generous supporter!
