Shaggy Dog!  Shaggy is a terrier mix - we think he is a mix of shih tzu and cairn and who knows what else!  He is about 2 years old and 22 pounds.  Shaggy was another surrender to a shelter that was already busting at the seams.  Yes we will help Shaggy find his home!

Shaggy is a nice, active boy!  He walks well on a leash and LOVES to be outside!  A fenced yard is probably a good idea because he likes to run and zoom, always moving!  He is crate trained and doing well on his housetraining.  he will need a good routine and schedule in his new home.  Shaggy is good with other dogs but has not been tested with cats.  He is good with kids.  Shaggy is an active boy that would like to be in an active home!  He wants to go on walks, hikes and car rides with his family!  Shaggy is smart and will benefit from some basic training.  He is friendly and playful - a nice family dog!

Shaggy is now neutered, up to date with vaccines, micrcochipped, flea/worm treated and heartworm neg.  Shaggy has also been groomed - he will need this occasionally throughout the year so please take into consideration!  Shaggy's adoption fee is $275 to help cover his vet expenses and also help the other, less adoptable dogs in the rescue!
