Sweet Daniel boy - this little man is a puppy mill survivor.  He is a 6 year old Maltese and only 6 pounds!  Daniel's tail is always wagging, just as happy as can be as he runs in circles all day long!  This is a behavior that many mill dogs have - they live in tiny cages and going in circles is not only the only exercise they ever get but also a way to deal with stress.  It may take Daniel a little time to get over this or he may not ever.  But he is free now and somewhere, someone will accept this and love him no matter what!  Something he never had before.  Please take some time to research puppy mill dogs if  you do not have any experience with them - all dogs are different but Mill dogs are very special!  

Daniel is happy.  He is gentle and sweet.  He is still skittish and you have to catch him sometimes but that is because he is just getting used to being touched.  He is very good with other dogs and should have another one in the home to show him the ways of being a pet and for for company!  Daniel is crate trained but not leash or house trained.  He will need some time and patience to teach him.  Daniel should wear a belly band and also have access to pee pads if need be until he knows better.  He is fine with cats!  Kids are ok too.   Daniel is such a sweet little guy, he is just a happy boy that needs some love and kindness!  

Daniel is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated, and had a dental.  Daniel has also been groomed and will need regular grooming throughout his life, every 8-12 weeks.  His adoption fee is $275 - please apply online if you are interested in adopting Daniel!
