This handsome boy is Toby!  He is about 2 years old and weighs 8 pounds.  Toby is a maltese/poodle mix!  He was surrendered to a local shelter and the staff felt he would do better with a rescue.  

Toby is a fun dog!  He loves to zoom in the yard and his foster siblings have a hard time catching him he is so fast!  Toby was not used to being around other dogs prior to coming to us but is just fine now!  He will let them know if they get into his face too much lol.  Toby is leash trained and crate trained.  He is still working on his housetraining so a good routine, patience and a little time is needed.  Toby has lived with cats - he was curious and sometimes gave a little chase but was not aggressive.  Toby is fine with kids.  He loves the yard and loves to run and play!  He was only walked once or twice a day in his former home so he is making up for lost time!! He has discovered toys and really likes his bones!  Toby is playful and sweet - he relishes the attention and love he gets in his foster home.  Toby will be a very nice companion and friend!

Toby is neutered, up to date on vaccines, micrcochipped, heartworm tested neg, flea/worm treated.  He has also been groomed!  Please remember that Toby will need regular grooming every 8-12 weeks throughout his life so please take that into consideration when adopting a long hair dog!  Toby's adoption fee is $325 to help with his vetting costs and the costs of the high medical needs Pixies we have in our rescue!  Please apply online if you are interested in adopting this sweet boy!
