Avery is a beautiful 3 year old Schnauzer - she is supposed to be chocolate but since she got all shaved down, she is kinda gray too!  Avery is about 17 pounds.  Avery spent the first 3 years of her life in a puppy mill, only used for breeding.  She is ready to start her new life as a pet!

Avery is sweet as pie.  She is starting to come out of her shell more and more each day.  Avery is smart too!  She has learned stairs  - up and down in just a few short days!  Avery is not leash trained - a fenced yard is a must for her right now.   She really likes to be outside!  She is crate trained and until she is better housetrained, she should be gated or crated.  Avery spins and spins like crazy when she has to go so it will be much easier for her new family to help her with this process!  She has learned to like being touched!  Avery likes to be pet and gets all wiggly butt when she sees her foster family!  She has started to play with toys and loves to bebop around the yard like a little lamb!  Avery is good with other dogs and even plays a bit with them.  No issues with cats.  Kids are ok as long as they are not too rowdy!  She does very well in the car and enjoys going out and about with her foster mom!  

Avery is now spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated, heartworm tested neg.  She has also been given a dental!  Avery had a very messy, rough haircut when she came to us so we completely shaved her down so she could start life fresh!  Her adoption fee is $300.  Please apply on the Pixie Mamas website if you are interested in making Avery part of your family!
