Please meet Lego!  Lego lost his front left leg last summer after he broke it in 3 places chasing the cat down the stairs.  His owners were advised that amputation would be his best option.  I am sure we are supposed to say that Lego is 'special needs" because of this but we can't figure out how this holds him back in any way or what he can't do because of it!  Now before you think "oh I always wanted a 3 legged dog!" please read his full profile  - this dog is not for everyone and you must have a sense of humor about his antics!

Lego is a high energy dog.  I mean Lego is a HIGH energy dog.  He can jump on his hind legs to the height of about 4 feet multiple times and for a while!  He runs, jumps, plays like he has all 4 legs!  He is leash trained and crate trained.  His house training is coming along but expect accidents and he will need a good routine in his new home.  He is good with older kids - not aggressive but he gets excited and can play a little rough.  And there's that jumping thing.  He is learning manners in his foster home but this needs to continue in his forever home.  His antics and goofiness are part of his personality though too - some things you can't change!  Lego is super smart and very food motivated!  NO Cats or anything 'chasable' in his new home - he chases lol!

Lego is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, heartworm neg, flea/worm treated.  His adoption fee is $300 - please apply on our website if you are interested!
