This handsome fellow is Teddy!  He is a 4 year old Havanese that was saved from the puppy mills.  We are bound and determined to make the rest of Teddy's life a great one!

Teddy is a sweet and special little dog.  He is leash trained but he prefers to wander in the yard to do his business - something he was denied most of his life.  He is also crate trained.  He likes to be outside.  He is doing well with learning his housetraining routine but will need more reinforcement, especially in a new home.  Time and patience - and love!  Teddy loves other little dogs and tends to bond with them quickly.  He will need that in his new home - it will help him adjust better.  He is still a bit skittish with new people so please do not expect too much from him initially.  His life has not been ideal in the past, living in a cage and only used for breeding.  He will need a quieter, patient home without small children.  He needs someone to give him reassurance and love so he can learn to trust people.  If you have never owned a puppy mill dog - please do your research!  They are not for every family/person - but if you do decide one is for you, the rewards are huge. 

Teddy is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, heartworm tested neg, flea/worm treated.  He has been groomed too!  His adoption fee is $300 - please apply online if you are interested in giving Teddy a home!
