Say hello to Jax!  We believe he is a Chihuahua/Dachshund mix, ~2 year old and 11 pounds.  He was a surrender to a local shelter and they felt he would do better in foster care rather then the kennels.  So here he is! 

Jax is a "tigger" dog - full of fun fun fun fun fun! He is VERY playful with other dogs and will do anything he can to get them to wrestle.  He is very energetic and loves to run and play!  He loves to be outside and goes out every chance he gets!  Jax is doing well on his housetraining but still needs reinforcement with a good routine.  He is nicely leash and crate trained!  Jax has interest in the cats he lives with but more on the playful level then aggressive.  Older kids would be best.  Jax gets a little nervous with new people and barks at them but once he gets to know you, he is fine.   He is a good watchdog and will let you know when something is happening that shouldn't be!  Jax is affectionate and will squeeze in anywhere to snuggle with you!  Jax is a good boy that needs a good routine and person to work with him!  He is smart and eager to learn. 

Jax is now neutered, up to date with vaccines, heartworm tested neg, flea/worm treated and microchipped.  His adoption fee is $200 - please apply online if you are interested in making him part of your family!
