Please meet Nettie!  She is a lovely rat terrier mix - about 2 years old and 14 pounds.  Nettie was found as a stray and never claimed.  She was also pregnant  and recently had 2 puppies!  Nettie decided that she did not want to be a mom and her puppies are with 'foster moms' until they can feed themselves! 

Nettie is sweet - she does need to warm up to you but it does not take long.  She does do better with women then men.  She is leash trained and gets very excited when she knows she is going somewhere!  She is also very crate trained!  She does very well with housetraining but will do better in a fenced yard.  She needs encouragement to go out in the cold!  don't we all!  She also uses pee pads if they are available.  Nettie likes other dogs and plays with them but she can be bossy!  She is ok with cats.  She is smart and sweet and will be a nice companion if given a little time, love and patience. 

Nettie is now spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, heartworm tested neg, flea/worm treated.  She had a cesarean section at the time of giving birth and had to stay at the hospital.  Her vet bills are over $800!  Her adoption fee is $200 - please apply online if you are interested Nettie!
