Boston Terrier (short coat) : : Male (neutered) : : Adult : : Medium
Learn more about the Boston Terrier. Please meet my most special boy Hobbs! Hobbs is about 19 pounds and ~4 yrs old, a beautiful Boston Terrier. Hobbs' owner passed away and basically he was left outside to run away. A kind neighbor called the city shelter and that is where we came in! Hobbs developed pneumonia when we first got him and he was in the hospital and he lost a lot of weight. He is gaining it back nicely and could probably use a couple more pounds! Hobbs has limited vision - no glaucoma though. He had an injury to his eye and it was left untreated so the white you see is scar tissue. His other eye had an infection but we had that treated and is now better. He can see some but like I said, limited. He does great though! Yes he bumps into things but he's fine. Hobbs is leash trained but does better in a fenced yard so we are going to request one for his future home. He is crate trained too but is also housetrained! (please expect accidents as he adjusts) Hobbs is fine with kids but he is 'mouthy' in a playful way so older kids (10+) would be best. He loves to be outside and can chew on his chewies and play with toys all day long! He is a very happy boy! Hobbs is ok with other dogs - he likes to play with them! He does bump into them and if another dog is bothered by it and snaps, Hobbs doesn't back down! He stands up for himself!! No issues with cats. Hobbs is sweet, affectionate and very funny. He will make a great companion and make you smile every day!! Hobbs is now neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, heartworm neg, flea/worm treated. He had a TON of tests on his eyes too. Hobbs adoption fee is $325 - this will go towards his medical bills but will no way cover what we put into him! Please apply online if you are interested in making my honey boy yours!!
