This handsome devil is Edgar! He is a fantastic mix of dachshund and JRT - you can see both breeds in him for sure! Edgar is about 2 years old and weighs 13 pounds. He was found as a stray in the city and never claimed. Edgar had severe flea allergies and we worked very hard to get him healthy and pretty again!

Edgar is very friendly and loves people! He is great with kids and loves to play outside with them! He is good with other dogs. Edgar is leash trained and crate trained - he likes to go for walks around the neighborhood! He would really love a fenced yard to hang out in if at all possible. Edgar is happy and fun, he is just a nice little dog that will make a great family pet!

Edgar is now neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, heartworm tested neg, flea/worm treated. His adoption fee is $200 - please apply online if you want to make this adorable little guy a part of your family!

If you would like to adopt one of our "Pixies" you must fill out an application- it is the first step in the adoption process and we cannot move forward without a completed application.

We initially contact potential adopters via email with any additional questions or concerns. Please check your spam/junk folders.

We will call your vet's office for a reference - you must call them and give permission to release information to Pixie Mamas Rescue.

All animals breeds & ages are 'to our best our knowledge'

We DO NOT adopt out of state (including Canada) OR over 1 1/2 hours away from Buffalo, NY. NO exceptions. Please do not apply. (Any travel IN our adoption area is at the discretion of the foster home.)
