Rita  is an adorable little shih tzu that came to us from a home with too many dogs! She is about 2 years old and weighs about 14  or 15 pounds.  Rita is super cute and super loveable!

Rita is very sweet and affectionate, she can be a little shy at first but quickly warms up! She  likes people and loves attention!  Rita wants to be pet and runs right to her foster mom to get his share of loving!!  She is great with other dogs and cats too!  Another little dog in the house would be nice - she would enjoy the company and playmate! Rita is fine with kids as long as they are considerate of her too.  We are  working on her leash skills, a fenced yard would be ideal but not required as long as her new family is willing to work with her and be understanding.  Rita is working on her housetraining and doing very well!    She loves to be outside so that is a great help!  We think she is pretty well trained but please expect accidents with any new dog in a new situation.    She does well in a crate but prefers to be with other dogs so we gate her off with her brother and sister!!  Rita's breed requires grooming so please keep that in mind if you are interested!

Rita will be available on Friday August 31st.  She will be spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm tested &  microchipped.  Rita has been groomed, wormed and flea treated already!  Her adoption fee is $275
