Sweet & Sour Pickles!  Pickles is a 7 year old mini dachshund that was  surrendered due to his owner not having enough time for him anymore.  So he ended up at Pixie Mamas and is getting a lot of attention and love from his foster mama and doxie brothers and sisters!  Pickles has had back surgery a few years ago and is fully healed - he is a little crooked when he walks but he does just fine!  His ears are ripped and ragged around the edges - we don't know what happened to them but he came to us like.  It gives him a very unique look!  We just love the misfits at Pixie Mamas!!

Sweet Pickles is playful and loves toys - he will play with anything.  He likes other little dogs and is still up for a good wrestle match with someone!  He is leash and house trained (please expect accidents with any new dog!).  Pickles loves to be on a lap and loves to cuddle.  He is a little lover!  Sour Pickles can be protective over his owner, especially if it is a woman.  We are working with him on this but it may be something he may never overcome.  Pickles was adopted out once to a couple that thought they could handle it but it did not work out and he is back with us, safe and sound.   We think it is best he is in a 1 owner, female only home.  We only want what's best for Pickles!  We will be happy to discuss Pickles and all his quirks with any interested person too!  

Pickles is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, heartworm tested neg and dewormed.  He is a happy, healthy, quirky little bugger that will make you smile every day!  We are not asking for an adoption fee, we just want to find Pickles the right forever home and we will not compromise with it.  No young kids and single person please.  Doxie or small dog experience necessary and they must be responsible with crating or gating Pickles when necessary.  He is not vicious by any means BUT has shown protection to his owner!!  He is a good boy and just needs a good home that understands him!  please apply online if you want to make this happy boy yours!
