Chihuahua (long coat) : : Male (neutered) : : Senior : : Small
Learn more about the Chihuahua. Sweet little Springer! Springer is a senior dog that was dumped off at a local shelter because his family could no longer take care of him. He was not fixed, hadn't been to a vet in years, full of fleas and in bad need of a dental. So it is probably a good thing that he ended up there - he came to Pixie Mamas as soon as the shelter called us for help! Springer is small, only 6 pounds. The shelter thought he was 12 but we do not think he is that old! Maybe around 8 or 9 years old! He is very active and spry! His eyes are bright and he is full of life! He loves to be outside and will run with the young ones but would prefer to be on your lap! Springer is a beautiful boy - he loves everyone and is the typical lap dog, just wants to be near his human and be pet. He is leash, crate and housetrained (but please expect an adjustment period!) Springer is now neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, hw neg, flea and worm treated too. He was also given a dental and now he is ready for a home that will love him forever! Remember small dogs can live into their teens - please please do not disregard him because of his age! Too many wonderful dogs that just happen to be older are passed up upon! This boy will make a wonderful companion!! Please apply online if you are interested in Springer, his adoption fee is only $100 in hopes that we can find a great home for him!
