Learn more about the Pekingese. Contact Otto's Caretaker/Foster Directly: Foster 1/9 - New Otto Pictures!! 12/30 Update - Otto is now neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, and has gotten everything else he needs to be adopted! We have been having a good time with Otto, he is so lovable and cute. Otto knows some basic commands but our favorite is "sit pretty"! He loves to be outside and is usually the last one in. You should see him in the snow banks chasing Trinity and the little chihuahuas! Otto was having a difficult time with stairs but we have worked with him and now he is great going up and down stairs. He occasionally needs a little coaxing, I think it may be because he cannot see well in low light. Otto has improved immensely in his house training (please expect accidents with any new dog in any new situation). We have kept him in a good routine and if we are going to be gone for awhile, we use a belly band on him. If you are interested in making this adorable little dog part of your family in the New Year - please fill out an application online! His adoption fee is $200.
This beautiful boy is Otto! Otto is about 3-4 years old - he was surrendered to Pixie Mamas by a breeder and he will soon be neutered (12/14) and brought up to date with his vaccines and anything else he needs. Otto is a lovely sable color and his coat is long and silky. Otto is happy go lucky, a typical peke - he loves everyone and is quick to roll over for a belly scratching! Otto gets along with other little dogs and cats do not bother him at all. He is crate trained and leash trained. Otto is improving on his house training now that he is in a consistent environment and he will improve more once he is neutered! We will send a belly band with him to his new home to help his transition period. As you can see, Otto has only 1 eye. We do not know what happened that his eye had to be removed but those buggy eyed pekes often have issues with their eyes. This does not slow him down one bit though - just gives him a very unique cuteness!
