This tiny little man is Rooney!  Rooney is 6 years old, 7 pounds and a maltese/poodle mix.  His owner relocated and could not take Rooney with her.  Rooney is a sweet lovable little lap dog.  He would be fine as an only dog in the house or with other little dogs.  He does not mind the cats although he will give a half hearted chase in the yard occasionally.  Rooney is good with adults and older, calm children.  He is not a fan of playful little puppies so calmer dogs would be the best match.  This little guy likes to sleep in a bed at the foot of his foster mom's bed!  He stays put all night too.    He is NOT good in a crate, he absolutely hates them and it stresses him too much.  Rooney will need some patience with his housetraining too - we will send a belly band with him to his new home until he gets into a good routine.  Rooney also walks well with a leash!  He likes to take walks in the neighborhood and would like to have that in his new home too!  Rooney will need to be groomed every couple of months so please take that additional cost into consideration.
