Tucker just arrived to our rescue recently and we are learning all about him!  What we do know right now is he is very happy and has lots of energy!  He is a cairn terrier mix, about 3 years old and 15 pounds.  He may be a little younger due to the energy and antics but the vet set him at that age on his paperwork.  Tucker was at the shelter a long long time and now that he is out, he is as happy as can be and really wants to be with people.  We are working on refreshing his manners, simple things like jumping and walking in front of you.  He just wants to be with you!  Tucker likes to play with the other dogs but he sometimes forgets that he is a little bigger then they are and needs to be gentle.  He is not mean, just over zealous!   He is good on a leash and seems to be housetrained - PLEASE expect accidents though as with any new dog in any new situation.  Tucker is working on his crate skills, he does OK as long as you give him time to get past his "I want out" phase.  He has been in a crate for so long he does not want to go back!
