This little guy must have been the runt of the litter because he is just that - a Shrimp!!
But please do not let his small size fool you - he is a little dog with a HUGE personality.  Shrimp is a puppy with a lot of energy.  If you know anything about terriers they are smart and need to be occupied or else will get into trouble.  Shrimp can be found in the thick of any of the puppy antics going on - we are sure that those other puppies are the ring leaders and Shrimp  just gets caught up in the action!  He loves to play and wrestle with the other dogs whether they want to or not.  Shrimp is doing great with his housetraining - he LOVES the outside!  He also uses papers when gated in his foster home.   But he is a puppy and will need training.  Shrimp is crate trained at night and he does fine.  He is not leash trained so he should have a fenced yard in his new home.  Ideally we would like to place Shrimp with another little dog that wants to play.  He will get bored quickly by himself and when puppies get bored....bad things can happen.  So if you think you can handle all this cuteness and energy in a little package - please fill out an application!
Shrimp is a rescue from Louisiana - he was basically waiting to be euthanized because they do not have an adoption program!  We were able to save little Shrimp, Bindi and Daniel and are hoping to help more dogs next time!
