Please meet Bridget!  She is one of the cutest little doxies we have had in our rescue.  Bridget in a tiny black & tan 3 year old dachshund, only 8 pounds.  She was in a home that had many young kids - and they were allowed to do anything to here which quickly wore thin with Bridget.  She was not happy and she let the kids know - remember little dogs and very young children are not a good mix.  Young kids do not understand that little dogs are not toys!  Bridget will be fine with older kids.  All she wants to do is sleep and snuggle with people!  She is friendly and pretty happy in her foster home.  She gets along with the other little dogs here but she does give the cats a little business.  Bridget is leash trained and house trained.  She is not happy in a crate but we are working with that.  Bridget is a very sweet little dog and she will be a wonderful companion!  Please fill out an application if you are interested in adopting Bridget.
