Learn more about the West Highland White Terrier Westie.

Jacque aka Jack is now ready for adoption!  He is a Westie mix, about 5 years old and 12 pounds.  Jack came to us from Texas where he surrendered to our rescue friends and needed a place to go to find a home.

Meet Jack, the sweetest little guy you'll ever meet! He absolutely adores his foster mom and loves being by her side, or sitting by the window taking in the world around him. Sometimes he even keeps an eye on the neighbors – what a character or stalker as we like to call him! He's a real cuddle bug and just can't get enough of being petted and brushed. Oh, and bath time is no problem for him either!

In his foster home, Jack is just thriving. He's fine with the other dogs and doesn't seem to mind the cats – pretty surprising for a westie! He's already crate trained and seems to have a good handle on house training. Just keep in mind, he may need a little time to adjust to a new home and routine. Oh, and he has a fully fenced yard currently but you'll need to keep an eye on him to make sure he doesn't try to sneak out. He's doing well at walking on a leash. He may start off a bit cautious, but once he gets into the groove, he's raring to go.

Jack is just a total sweetheart – he's friendly, loving, and an all-around great companion. You're going to adore him!

Jack is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  His adoption fee is $450
