Rocky is ready to find his forever home!  Rocky is a 10 yr old chihuahua that was found in a box over the summer.  He was not in good shape, covered in fleas, sickly and severe ear infections.  Of course we scooped Rocky up into our rescue and got him healthy, happy and ready for the rest of his new life!

Oh, Rocky is such a little sweetheart! Despite his condition when he arrived, he's always been a happy pup who loves nothing more than snuggling up in your lap or snoozing in a cozy bed. He's  friendly with other little dogs and even gets along with the bigger ones as long as they're gentle with him. He's fine with the cats in his foster home too! Rocky is definitely a little lap dog who loves being held and carried around. And don't be surprised if he sneaks in a little kiss or two!

Rocky is crate & leash trained. . He's been doing well with his housetraining, but he may mark initially. However, a few days of correction and a belly band should take care of that. Rocky enjoys spending time outdoors, even in cold weather. Although his foster home has a fenced yard, it's not necessary for him to have one.  He may not have many teeth left, but that doesn't stop him from enjoying his favorite jerky sticks. He's also a quiet pup, so he'd be fine with apartment living.

Rocky is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  He has had a dental at some point in his life and recently has had a senior bloodwork panel done.  His adoption fee is $350
