The lovely Lady Sasha is now available for adoption!  Sasha is an adorable mix of chihuahua and Pom.  She is about 7 years old and weighs 13 pounds!    Sasha is a local girl, coming from a nearby shelter after her owner lost their home.  

Sasha has a sweet demeanor and is well-behaved in her foster home. She is always near her foster mom like a faithful companion. Sasha is very good about going outside and does so every time she is asked to. However, there have been accidents in her foster home so please expect some additional time for her to adjust. She was likely used to using peed pads in her former home.  Sasha has a fully fenced yard in her foster home, which is a bonus but not a requirement in her next home. She walks on a leash and is happy to go for walks. Sasha loves to carry small toys in her mouth around the house and yard, which is super cute.

Sasha prefers smaller dogs, and a quieter home.  It's likely that she was the only dog in her past. She has adjusted well to living with multiple dogs  in her foster home, and the resident cats don't seem to bother her.  Sasha does have a loud and shrill bark, which has a sing-song quality when she gets excited. Please keep this in mind if you are considering adopting her. Although we have not observed her around children during her time in rescue, we believe that she will do well with them as long as they are respectful and gentle.

Sasha has a mature cataract in her right eye, but it doesn't require medical attention at the moment. Sasha has been professionally groomed and she did great. 

Sasha is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  Her adoption fee is $450
