Learn more about the Cocker Spaniel.

Meet Biscuit, a two-year-old Cocker Spaniel weighing about 20 pounds, who is eager to start her new life! Biscuit and her sister, Bailey, were released from a breeder after failing to conceive despite multiple attempts. Way to go, girls!

Biscuit is doing great in her foster home and has adjusted nicely considering her past life.   She's learned quickly to navigate stairs to get outdoors and loves spending time outside. Her home currently has a fully fenced yard, which allows her to experience freedom for the first time!  She is not leash trained so at this point we will only consider fully fenced yards for her (no invisible fences please). Biscuit is learning to trust people and was initially very skittish but boy oh boy has she blossomed!  She loves to be loved!  Biscuit and Bailey now run up to their foster for pets and love - they are so happy!  They run in the yard together and love to play with other dogs.  Both of the girls love chewies and toys  Biscuit will also require another dog in the home - we are hoping she is adopted with Bailey.

Biscuit is crate trained, but still needs work with housetraining and walking on a leash. However, we are confident that with patience and training, she will learn these skills as she is young and smart. Housetraining is really progressing with less and less accidents!  They fully understand what they need to do when they are outside.  Please expect some accidents though as they learn a new home and routine.

Please remember that Biscuit will require regular grooming of her coat and cleaning of her ears for the duration of her life. These are essential tasks that will help her maintain good health and hygiene.  Biscuit was afraid of the bath and dryer when she was groomed but did great with the clippers.  Please make sure your groomer is aware of this.

Biscuit is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea treated and dewormed, and tested neg. for heartworm.  Her adoption fee is $475 - we will reduce it to $450 if adopted with her sister Bailey.
