Our boy Chip is ready for his new home!  This tiny little fellow is an adorable mix of dachshund and chihuahua we believe.  He is a young boy, maybe around 1.5 years and only 8 pounds!  We don't know how much of that are his ears though! 

Chip is a great little dog.  He is very playful with other dogs and loves wrestling and chasing other dogs in the yard.  He is also a lap dog!  He enjoys being held and cuddled.  It's the best of both worlds with Chip!  When he is not playing or napping, he will find a chewie and spend the afternoon keeping his teeth in good shape!  He loves toys and will find the biggest one to carry around and play with!  

Chip is doing well on his housetraining. Please expect some adjustment time as he learns a new home and routine.   He knows what to do when outside and is let out often in his foster home.  He has a fully fenced yard currently and that is helpful.  Chip does walk on a leash and will look forward to going for walks.  He is cratetrained also.   Chip does show interest in the cats in his foster home - typical dachshund!  But he takes direction well and leaves them alone when corrected.  He is a good little listener!  Chip has not been around kids yet in his foster home but we do not expect there to be any issues as long as they are gentle and respectful of this little guy.  

Chip is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg for heartworm.  His adoption fee is $450
