Kay is looking for her forever home!  Kay is about 9-10 months old and weighs about 40 pounds.  She looks like a retriever mix but we don't know for sure.  

Meet Kay, a smart and enthusiastic girl who is eager to please and always ready to learn. Although she is still developing some basic manners, such as not jumping up, her playful energy is infectious and with more training, she's sure to master them in no time. 

Kay is a lover of the outdoors, and her fully fenced yard in her foster home provides her with ample space to explore and play. She is wonderfully crate-trained, and you won't hear a peep from her unless she needs to go outside. Her leash skills are good, but with more practice, she'll undoubtedly become a pro.  The thought of going for a walk gets her very excited! 

Kay has already mastered some basic commands, such as "sit," and is currently working on "paw" and "down." She is a happy-go-lucky dog who loves to cuddle and shower her foster mom with kisses. Her food motivation is remarkable, and a mere piece of cheese is enough to make her day.

Kay would be an excellent family companion or a loyal friend for someone who enjoys hiking and camping. She gets along great with other dogs, regardless of their size, and loves playing with them. Although she shows interest in house cats, she only sniffs them and wags her tail.

Overall, Kay is a charming and loving dog who craves attention and affection. With her delightful personality and infectious energy, she'll undoubtedly make a fantastic addition to any home.
