A lot can happen between “Once Upon a Time” and “They Lived Happily Ever After” …and the truth is often stranger than fiction.

Our “Royal Family” story begins in a Texas ditch.  A mom and 3 pups are found by a kind family, abandoned, dirty and hungry.  And in a unique twist of fate – the family decided to keep the mom!  This is a truly rare situation, as pups usually overshadow their mothers and it often takes much longer to find a home for the mom.   Not in this case!  These good Samaritans flipped the script, and the puppies came into the rescue alone.  The only information we received about their mother is that she was around 20 lbs. and looked like a yorkie/silky terrier breed.  So now our story focuses on her children.

With a flourish of our magic wand and a “bibbidi-bobbidi-boo” – may we present to you, Cinderella.

Black as soot – but with some very cool white furry disco go-go boots on her front legs and killer tan eyebrows – she is the runt of the litter.  Tiny body – HUGE personality.  Her fur is very soft, even though it looks rocker-chick scruffy.  She is a bit of a tattletale and wants to tell you all her secrets (and everyone else’s secrets!) as long as she has your undivided attention.  She loves to be held and adored and is full of tiny puppy kisses.  She knows she is gorgeous and is always ready for her close-up and prepared to pose, pose, POSE! (Where are the cameras?!? My agent said there were going to be cameras!  Do you see any??  There are supposed to be cameras! Get that man on the phone right now!)  She wants to see & be seen in the hottest restaurants, run around town clubbing with her entourage, and experience all that the good life has to offer her.   With one wag of that turned up tail, she is warning you – don’t count the little girls out – they are FIERCE!

Please remember – she is a baby.  She learns quickly and loves to be rewarded and recognized for her accomplishments.  She has started to use potty pads in her foster home, but she has never been outside.   She recently received her second round of vaccinations and it is a big, dangerous world out there. She needs to be 100% protected.  She will need basic puppy training, patience, and lots of love for her to blossom into the amazing dog she is meant to be.  Please give her the opportunity to be successful – she deserves it.

Cinderella is current on her vaccinations, microchipped, and treated for fleas/worms.  She has not been tested for heartworm due to her age.  We are requiring a spay/neuter contract to be signed at the time of adoption (the cost of her spay is included in her adoption fee and fully explained in the contract).  She is scheduled to be spayed at Operation Pets on Thursday, June 30, 2022 and it will be the adopters responsibility to take her to the appointment.
