Pretty little Marigold is ready for her new home!  Marigold is about 2 years old and weighs about 7 pounds.  She is a mix of chihuahua and dachshund we believe.  Originally from Texas, Marigold was found in a hoarding situation there with her siblings and thankfully, they all made it out and to Buffalo!  Marigold was adopted last year but due to changes in her owner's health, she was returned recently.  

Marigold is such a bright and happy little dog.  She loves to play with the other dogs in her foster home and of course, is a total snuggle buddy too.  Marigold is a lap dog too.  Anytime her foster mom looks at her, Marigold is ready to be picked up and cuddled.  She is happiest when she can sit on the couch under a blanket with her foster mama or anyone else that is willing to hang out with her.  Marigold walks nicely on a leash.  She has a fully fenced yard in her foster home and she is doing really well with her housetraining.  Please expect some adjustment time in her new home though.  Marigold is crate trained but would prefer to sleep with her foster friends instead!  Kids should be fine as long as they are respectful of her small size.  She has been with kids 12+ with no issues.  We were told she did not warm up to men but so far it has not been an issue in her foster home.  Marigold is an affectionate and sweet little dog - her personality is full of spunk and fun! She will definitely brighten up your day with her cheerful personality and always wagging tail!

Marigold is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  Her adoption fee is $400
