Please meet Clementine!  She came to us with Morty and Delilah when their owner suddenly passed away.  Clementine is about 6 years old and she is a wire hair dachshund.  

Clementine is just a sweetheart!  She is happy and sweet, just a nice little dog.  Although she loves Morty and Delilah very much, she does not need to stay with them.  She is fine when she is not with them.  She likes to be where her foster mom is and will cuddle with any dog in the vicinity.  Clementine loves to be outside and is almost always the last one in!  She enjoys the snow and likes to sit outside or wander the yard looking for squirrels.  She is doing very well on housetraining with frequent trips outside and also uses potty pads.  Because she loves to be outdoors so much, fully fenced yards (no invisible fences) will be considered first. Clementine is good on the leash and is crate trained.   She is always ready to go and is hoping for a car ride too!  Other dogs are fine as long as they are not too active and want her to play, she is not a player.  She prefers snuggles!  Kids are ok as long as they are older and understand she is not a playmate.   Clementine is not good with cats though.  She can be barky especially when there are new people around so apartments/condos/townhouses will not be considered.  

Clementine is long hair and will require grooming throughout her life.  

Clemintine is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  She has had a huge umbilical hernia removed (it was not a mammary tumor!) and has had a dental.  Her adoption fee is $450
