Attention Frenchie Lovers!  Knox is now available!  He is 1.5 years old and weighs 25 pounds.  Knox is a local boy too!  He was surrendered to our rescue so that we could find him the right home.  

Knox is a typical French Bulldog - loyal, loving with a great big goofy streak!  Knox loves everyone he meets and wants to play with them.  He is a happy dog that loves to wrestle and play with other dogs outside.  Because he can get a little rough, if there are other dogs in the home, they must be the same size or bigger than Knox.  He will go after the little dogs if there is food involved and we do not want to risk anything.  Knox is crate trained and leash trained.  He appears to be housebroken too but we always say to expect an adjustment period.  We were told he was possessive over toys in his last home and they were worried about the young kids getting in the way.  We have not seen that in his foster home - he has little interest in toys and only chases the dogs to play not to take the toys.  He likes to play fetch with his foster mom but can get a little mouthy.  Once he is told be nice, he stops.  He has not been tested with kids in his foster home though so we are going to say 12+ would be ideal.    When he first arrived he seemed to be sensitive over his collar and we think that is how he was disciplined in the past.  We gently touch it to help him get over this and also use a leash too instead of grabbing his collar and he is doing great with this.  Knox needs a dog savvy owner that understands he is going to need a consistent and firm routine, preferably someone who has bulldog experience.  

Knox is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  His adoption fee is $600
