Our little Mamasita is looking for her forever home. This petite beauty came from a hoarding situation in Texas. Mamasita is a 3 year old doxie/chihuahua mix.she may be tiny but she has a lot of spunk and spirit in her body. That tail of hers never stops moving. When Mamasita gets excited, she does this little dance that no one can resist.

Mamasita likes everyone she meets, animal or person. She will run and wrestle with her four-legged friends in her foster home. One of her favorite games to play is tug of war with her fellow dogs. Mamasita isn’t just all about the dogs though, she loves her human family just as much. She is a very agile girl, who will jump and leap from couch to couch just to lay on top of her foster mom's chest.  Anywhere her foster mom goes, Mamasita is right behind her. Sita appears to be mostly housebroken, but accidents will occur in a new setting, so be prepared with a pee pad, just in case. Mamasita is very uncomfortable on a leash at this time. Her foster mom keeps trying but it will take time before she wants to go for a walk. For this reason, Sita will require a fenced-in yard , no electric fences, please. She is also a door darter. If Mamasita thinks you are leaving, she will try to run out the door with you. She’s a fast little girl, so precautions must be taken to ensure she is secure in the home when you leave. She does like kids but should go to a home with older kids (over 12) that can be respectful of her small size and will be aware of her when leaving the house and won’t accidentally let her out.

As loving as Mamasita is, she does not like to be picked up. She prefers to keep her feet firmly on the ground. She will let you pick her up but she pancakes on the ground. Of Mamasita thinks you are going to pick her up, she runs away from you but keeps coming back because she loves you so much.
