Red Heeler / Mixed (short coat) : : Female (spayed) : : Adult : : Large
This big beautiful girl is Laynie Rose. We are told she is a heeler mix and she came in at a whopping 60 plus pounds. Although there is nothing wrong with being a little fluffy she does need to lose weight and has been working hard on that in her foster home. Laynie is a pretty easy going girl and loves to go on walks her foster family did notice a limp and sometimes she would rather not get up. She did see the vet here in NY and it was determined that she has a luxating patella, this is when the knee slips out of position. sometimes she may limp then everything returns to normal it's not uncommon in dogs and many go on to live normal lives without further issues. We were assured she is not in any pain and that no intervention other than weight loss is needed at this time. Laynie is a great dog. she is fostered with other dogs a cat and kids and his no issues although a calmer home would be better then a super active one. She is crate trained leash trained and housebroken she loves everyone and especially loves belly rubs and you can tell she had a family who loved her very much at some point. we hope she can once again be part of a loving family forever Laynie is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm. Her adoption fee is $300
