Learn more about the Rat Terrier. Daisy Moo (or just Moo) is an 8-month old Rat Terrier mix that weighs 15 pounds. She came to us from a shelter in Texas, but her origin is unknown. Based upon her ease in walking on a leash and with a harness, we think she may have lived in a home before. Moo is a very quiet, loving, and sensitive soul, she’s great with small children and other dogs, and loves snuggling with her foster parents, laying out in the sun, running with her foster sister and going for long walks. Moo is very nervous with new sights and sounds but she has acclimated quickly once she gets used to things. She is working on her potty training and has been given positive reinforcement. She does very well in the crate, and doesn’t hardly make a sound—no whining or barking, even when in the crate or when her foster sister barks at every passerby. She listens for her name and comes when called, she is very smart, and she would be so excited to become a part of a loving family. Moo is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm. Her adoption fee is $400
