Ginger if finally ready for adoption!  This pretty senior poodle came to us from our local city shelter.  She was not spayed, had mammary masses and in desperate need of a dental.  We couldn't wait to make her feel better and boy does she look and feel great now!  Ginger is about 10 years old and weighs about 10 pounds.  

Ginger is content spending her day curled up in a comfy chair, watching her foster mom work.  She will get spurts of happy energy throughout the day and is always up for a treat or two.  She is good with other dogs except for puppies or high energy dogs - she does not want to be jumped on or compete for attention.  Ginger loves people and wants to be around them.  She is good with cats and kids would be fine too if they are respectful to her age and size.  She is leash trained but has a fully fenced yard in her foster home. She is working on her potty skills - she will go potty when you take her out but she doesn't let you know when she has to go.  Her foster mom is trying to get her to use potty pads too.  Ginger is also crate trained but prefers to be gated off if needed.  She would love a comfy chair or bed in new home - and someone to watch TV with all day long!  Ginger will need to be groomed regularly throughout her life so please take that into consideration.  

Ginger needed a lot of medical attention when she came to us and she has received it all!  Ginger had an EKG and was determined to have a slight heart condition.  She is on 2 different medications that she takes daily and will need to remain on for the rest of her life.  She was deemed healthy to be spayed and had that done too.  She had her mammary masses removed and dental was also preformed!  

Ginger is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm. She has also been professionally groomed.  Her adoption fee is $275 to help with her huge medical bills!
