Gucci Gucci Susan Lucci!  This little diva is Gucci and she lives up to her name!  She is a beautiful 1.5 year old chihuahua and she weighs about 5 pounds.  Gucci hails from Texas and she was getting a little too big for her britches there according to her owner.  They were about to send her to a shelter when we intercepted to get her to NY!

Gucci is a chihuahua lover's dream!  She is very sweet to her foster mom and loves to sleep on her neck when it's nap time.  Initially she would growl at the other dogs in the house but that soon stopped.  Now she sleeps along side of them.   She LOVES cats - LOVES!!  She is so excited when she sees one and gives it kisses non-stop.  She is crate trained and will often go inside for a nap.  We were told she was guarding a crate and items in Texas but we haven't had that issue here.  She has actually become playful with the other little dogs in the house.  We think the stress of losing her home and the journey here could have been the issue.  Gucci is a typical chihuahua with her potty habits - it's when she feel like going outside, she goes.  Other then that, she uses the potty pads pretty consistently.  She does have a fully fenced yard in her foster home.   Gucci loves treats and will sit very nicely to get one.  Gucci is not overly friendly with new people but when she knows, she is a loyal dog to her person.  Since she is so small, we prefer no large dogs in her future home.  We will also prefer older kids 12+ at least.  Gucci would love a home that has chihuahua experience as they can be quirky little dogs - especially the tiny ones!

Gucci is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  Her adoption fee is $400
