Lou Lou (AKA Mrs. Lift) is ready for her forever home. During these Covid times, we can all use a little “lift” in out spirits, and Lou  Lou is ready to do just that. She is a 2 year old boxer/bulldog mix that traveled from Texas ready to find her forever home. If you have never seen the movie, Throw Mama From the Train, google search Mrs. Lift. You will see exactly how this beautiful baby got her name!

She is the perfect combination of sass and cuddles. Lou  Lou has spurts of energy where she loves to run and play but that doesn’t last too long. Then she enjoys snuggling on the couch snoring away. Lou  Lou has no idea of her size and will sit on your lap to make sure you are giving her the butt runs she longs for. In true bulldog fashion, Lou  Lou will push her way through other dogs to get to her people. She is just a happy girl who knows she’s been saved. When her foster family comes home, Lou  Lou is so happy to see them, she bounces around, with her tail wagging as fast as can be. She will sit on your feet and lean in to you for all the loving you can give. Lift is not a barker, but does make all the bulldog grunts and groans. Lou  Lou is great on a leash, house broken and crate trained. All the hard work has been done for you already! She is good with kids but we would recommend children over the age of 8 for her only because she is mouthy when she plays. She has also been around dogs of various sizes. When she first meets a new dog, she tends to do the boxer bulldog stance over them. Some dogs can be a little intimidated by this, but she means no harm, she just wants to present herself to them ready to play. Lou  Lou is sweetheart of a dog that will not be around long.
