Fun, energetic, happy, playful and handsome! This is Vegas all wrapped up into one stocky little body!  Vegas is a dachshund mix, about 1 year old and 14 pounds.  

Vegas came to us from Texas - he absolutely loves NY already!  Vegas loves people and is always where is his foster mom is.  He wants attention and love and will tell you so when he shoves his nose under your hand for pets!  Vegas would love lots of people or kids to shower him with love.  He is very good with other dogs but can play rough.  He is still a pup but is learning to pick up on the other dogs cues of 'enough!'  Cats are no issue with Vegas.  He is working on his potty training and is doing well but will need more trg and adjustment time.  We started walking on a leash and he is picking it up.  He likes if another dog walks with him.  Vegas is a cuddle bug when he settles down.  He will rest his head on his foster mom's feet while she works and if she moves he is up and ready to go with her.  He has a loud bark so apartments are not an option for him.  Vegas would make a great family dog!   

Vegas is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  His adoption fee is $400
