Mama Plum is now ready for a home of her own. She is the mom of the “fruit puppies” we recently had available for adoption. At a very young age, Plum was a wonderful mom to her pups, but now she wants to be somebody’s baby. Plum and her puppies were found down in Texas, with some of her puppies, Kiwi, Yuzu, and Quince.

There is no doubt someone once cared for Plum. She is so sweet and affectionate. All Plum wants to do is be near her people. She is hopelessly devoted to them. Plum will follow her foster mom all around the house. If her mom is in the yard gardening, Plum is out there too. She loves to run laps in the yard. A nice fenced in yard would be perfect for Plum. She is inquisitive when on walks, frequently stopping to smell the world around her. Plum also wants to stop and say “hi” to every person she sees or hears on those walks. Plum has been around kids as young as 7 and truly enjoys them. Plum is good with other dogs and enjoys playing and chasing them in her foster home. Plum is doing excellent on her house training! Accidents are expected at first, of course. After a long day of running and playing, Plum will jump on the couch, rest her head on her foster family’s lap, and just stare, until she is sound asleep and snoring. Plum knows she has been saved. Plum is very nurturing. Maybe it’s her motherly instincts but if someone is sad or crying, Plum has to try to make them all better. She will jump in their lap and lick away the tears. With all the love she gives, no one can be sad with Plum nearby. Plum is not crated in her foster home. If you think you can provide Plum with as much love as she will give you, make sure you apply!

Plum is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, tested neg. for heartworm and flea/worm treated.  Her adoption fee is $350
