Gidget-Ity Goo is ready for her forever home. Gidget came to us back in February afraid and very pregnant. She is the mom of the six G-force puppies. We don’t know her full back story but we do know that she was not treated very nicely. Even now, if Gidget thinks you are mad at her, Gidget immediately flips over, cowers, slinks away, and pees out of fear. It took some time in Gidget’s foster home but now she knows what love is. And believe us, Gidget is all about love. She insists on touching her foster mama all the time. Gidget is no longer afraid of people. She has learned that not everyone will be mean to her. Gidget has been around dogs of various sizes. It has been discovered that she does not like large dogs. She prefers dogs that are closer to size. When she cliques with a dog, it’s an immediate reaction. She will run and play with them. And when Gidget is excited, she will jump high in the air with all four feet off the ground. She is very entertaining. Gidget is crate trained and still working on her house training. She’s getting there for the most part. Time and consistency are key. She has been around kids as young as 8 and had done excellent with them. Gidget is scared of the leash still so a fenced yard is required for her at this time (no electric or invisible fences). She does also have some food aggression when it comes to other dogs. She needs to be fed separately or in her crate when it comes to mealtimes. It is definitely manageable. It’s really just over her meals.  She can take treats with the other dogs and there is no issue. Gidget needs a home that will continue to teach her how to be loved. Gidget has so much potential and is an amazing companion for someone who will shower her with love.  If you are ready to be this mamas forever family, make sure you apply.
