Luna is back up for adoption!  She was on a medical hold due to her having a chipped bone on her knee cap.  She is now ready and cleared for adoption!

Luna is a scruffy little dog looking for her new home!  She is about 7months old and weighs about 11 pounds.  She came to us from Texas with her sister Poppy.   

Luna came to us very scared and nervous.  Her foster mom worked daily with her for 3 weeks to gain her trust and confidence.  By no means is Luna a plug-in dog at this point but we do feel she is secure enough to start her new life.  Luna will need a home that will give her time and patience to adjust.  She is just a puppy so she will need some training to blossom.  Luna is good with other dogs and we definitely want one in her new home to show her the ropes and give her some companionship. She will also need a fully fenced yard (no invisible fences) as she is not able to walk on a leash.  She should drag a leash in the yard until she is comfortable enough with you to pick her up or she comes into the house on her own.  We believe Luna would be a flight risk if given the opportunity. Luna loves toys and loves to tug on her foster mom's pants or shirt.  She is crate trained and working on her housetraining.  She loves to be outside so that is a help.  She will also use potty pads in her foster home.  Luna has a big bark so no apartments for her.  Kids would be fine as long as they are older and gentle with her.  She is very loveable and affectionate.  She wants to please her person.  Luna is very smart and eager to learn.  If you think you have the right home for this little pup, please give her the opportunity to join your family!
