Pickle is a 2 year old, 11lb, lap dog that loves snuggling. This white, scruffy, terrier-mix hails from Texas but is quickly adjusting to New York!
Pickle loves lots and lots of attention and will frequently nudge you if you stop petting him. He is house-trained aside from some territory marking. He does well with children, however, he would prefer children over 5 as he does like his personal space. He does well being confined during the day but will get into things if given the opportunity. Pickle is doing well learning commands and is very treat motivated. He really loves to be outside so watch those doors as he has a tendency to try to run out. He is a companion dog and really likes to be with his person/people, whether it's snuggling on the couch, or out on an adventure. He is sweet and gives lots of kisses. A fenced yard would be preferred. He was tested briefly with cats and did fine. Pickle is neutered, up to date on vaccines, ,microchipped and tested neg. for heartworm. We will call your vet's office for a reference - you must call them and give permission to release information to Pixie Mamas Rescue.
