Charlie is looking for love!  He is a mini dachshund, about 4 months old.  He was discarded at a shelter because his owners thought he was sick - we gladly scooped him up and got him well!  Now he's in NY and ready to take on the world.  

Charlie is an affectionate little dude.  He loves to cuddle and tries to weasel into his foster mom's bed every chance he gets.  He is very playful with other dogs and doesn't care about cats.  He has a big bark though for a little guy so apartments will not be a good idea for him.  He is not a fan of the cold Buffalo weather yet.  He is working on housetraining and will use puppy pads.  A fenced yard is preferred for Charlie.  Charlie is a typical puppy - lots of energy and love to share.  He will need lots of training, love, and patience to make him into a good dog!  

Charlie is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated.  His adoption fee is $450 - please apply on our website if you think he could be a good fit for you!

  • If you would like to adopt one of our "Pixies" you must fill out an application- it is the first step in the adoption process and we cannot move forward without a completed application.

  •  We will call your vet's office for a reference - you must call them and give permission to release information to Pixie Mamas Rescue.

  • All animals breeds & ages are 'to our best our knowledge'

  • We DO NOT adopt out of state (including Canada) OR over 1 1/2 hours away from Buffalo, NY. NO exceptions. Please do not apply. (Any travel IN our adoption area is at the discretion of the foster home.)
