My Darling Darlene:

The spirit of adventure & the swagger of true confidence combined into 5-1/2 lbs of 100% pure doxie moxie!

Darlene is 3 months old and newly arrived from Texas.  She is trying to get used to our western New York weather - and figured out pretty quick that cuddling is a must!  She has a sleek, jet black coat with a tiny white crescent moon on her chin and white starburst on her chest.  She has sparkling white highlights on some of her tiny toes.  She was fabulous when she got her bath in the kitchen sink - no struggling & not afraid of the sprayer when being rinsed.  She also completely adored being rubbed dry with a big fluffy towel.  She loves people and loves to be the center of attention.  

Darlene is the biggest of her sisters & the first one to escape the pen and brave the wild, untamed tundra of the living room.  The first one to master the steep & mysterious doggie ramp leading to the top of the bed.  The first one to come face-to-face with the 13 year old resident chihuahua queen in her foster mama's house - and then wash her nose & ears & eyeballs before that old mutt even knew what was happening.  Hurricane Darlene is in the house!  This princess knows no fear and struts like a boss.

She uses potty pads while her foster mom is at work & we are hitting about a 60% success rate.  Given that she is so young & has only been here a very short time, we think those are some impressive odds! Puppies are blank slates that need time, patience & training to become wonderful adult dogs. 

Darlene does great with the other foster dogs in the house.  She is usually instigating the play & always wants to be the leader.  She is active & bubbly, but also very loving and cuddly.  This girl is a total package!

Darlene is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and dewormed.  Her adoption fee is $400
