Romeo Romeo Romeo…it is the most appropriate name for this little guy because he is such a little lover. Romeo is Chihuahua mix, probably with a mini dachshund somewhere. He has the longer body and short little legs! He has the ‘love’ gene of a doxie that’s for sure – he loves being on your lap any chance he can get!! He is 2 years old, black, tan and white – very pretty - and only weighs about 7.5 pounds. Don't you love how his ears look like airplane wings! A playful, active boy. He was found as a stray and turned into a shelter who thought he would do better in a rescue where he would be fostered and a good home found! Romeo is neutered, all up to date with his shots, microchipped and heartworm negative. He is healthy and happy and will be a great addition to a family with kids and/or small dogs. Romeo is being fostered in Buffalo. Please email for an application and more information if you are interested in adopting this little love bug.

If you would like to adopt one of our "Pixies" you must fill out an application- it is the first step in the adoption process and we cannot move forward without a completed application.

We initially contact potential adopters via email with any additional questions or concerns. Please check your spam/junk folders.

We will call your vet's office for a reference - you must call them and give permission to release information to Pixie Mamas Rescue.

All animals breeds & ages are 'to our best our knowledge'

We DO NOT adopt out of state (including Canada) OR over 1 1/2 hours away from Buffalo, NY. NO exceptions. Please do not apply. (Any travel IN our adoption area is at the discretion of the foster home.)
