Handsome Cooper is ready for his new home!  He is a 3 year old French Bulldog, a big guy of about 33 pounds.  

Cooper is a pretty cool dog.  He is leash trained and crate trained but will cry in it initially.  This happens more at night when he wants to be with you.  He does put himself to bed when he is done with the day.  He appears to be housetrained but please expect some adjustment time.  He has a fenced yard in his foster home and he really enjoys it.  Cooper is the destroyer of all stuffed toys.  He will not stop until they are squeakerless and defluffed.  He loves to chew so he needs some proper bones to keep him busy.  On occasion, he will guard his chewie if he thinks another dog is too close so he needs to be watched if there is another dog in the house.  He likes to play with other dogs too but they should be in his size range.  He stands his ground when he feels challenged by another dog and does not back down!  He chases cats outside but inside, he doesn't mind them.  He is not a big barker.  He is stubborn and he will need an authoritative owner to make sure he does not take over the house!  He loves attention and looks so lovingly at you it's easy to forget he can be a stinker too!  Cooper is a typical Frenchie in a lot of ways - please do your research on the breed's personality and needs.  They are a very popular breed right now but they are not for everyone.  

Cooper is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  His adoption fee is $550.  His adoption fee will help our many hospice and medical needs dogs.
