Anatolian Shepherd / Mixed : : Female (spayed) : : Baby : : Medium
Learn more about the Anatolian Shepherd. Lilac’s beautiful litter of puppies, who were born in rescue on 11/29/18, are accepting applications! Prim is the Largest of the females! She was nicknamed little fatty up until a few weeks ago when Drake surpassed her in size and weight. She was the laziest puppy and always looking for her mom so she could nurse the day away. That has changed and Prim is now all about wrestling and fooling around with her siblings! Prim is the sassiest of the bunch and was the first to bark. She is a very good girl and is always looking at her foster mom for direction and attention. Sometimes you can find Prim just sitting under the table observing what is going on around her but once she becomes interested she joins in the fun. The puppies are NOT housebroken but are working on pad training. It has been to cold for them to be outside much so ALL basic training will be needed in their forever home. Lilac (her mom) is just under 50 lbs so we are sure Prim will be around that size as well. See below for standard traits and requirements from AKC about that breed: All Australian Shepherds need a great deal of physical exercise and mental stimulation. Herding, advanced obedience, agility, jogging or biking, chasing balls, and playing Frisbee are constructive outlets for their enthusiasm. Boredom is the leading cause of destructive behavior and barking. Australian Shepherds are demanding of time and attention and want to be with you constantly. We will not be adopting the puppies to an apartments. A fully fenced in yard is preferred, breed experience will be given priority. If you think Prim is a match for your home, please apply. Prim is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated. Her adoption fee is $350
