Nutty little Nutmeg! This boy is another little friend from Texas. We think his mix is Schnauzer and possibly Shih Tzu. He appears to be non-shedding but since we do not know his breed mix for sure, it is only a guess.

Nutmeg is a smart cookie! He is learning the routine of his foster home pretty fast. He loves to be with his foster mom and will follow her all over. He is crate trained and appears to be housetrained (please expect accidents as he adjusts to a new home and routine). He has a fenced yard in his foster home so if he is going to be walked, it will require additional training. Nutmeg is playful with other dogs. He interested in the cats in his foster home as he finds them fascinating! Nutmeg is very friendly and gentle - he has a great demeanor.

Nutmeg is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm. His adoption fee is $400

If you would like to adopt one of our "Pixies" you must fill out an application- it is the first step in the adoption process and we cannot move forward without a completed application.

We initially contact potential adopters via email with any additional questions or concerns. Please check your spam/junk folders.

We will call your vet's office for a reference - you must call them and give permission to release information to Pixie Mamas Rescue.

All animals breeds & ages are 'to our best our knowledge'

We DO NOT adopt out of state (including Canada) OR over 1 1/2 hours away from Buffalo, NY. NO exceptions. Please do not apply. (Any travel IN our adoption area is at the discretion of the foster home.)
