Peppy is a playful little Pixie.  Like many of our fosters, Peppy traveled from Texas in order to find his forever home.  It seems that     Peppy has a hearing issue, we took him to the vet to have it checked out but it is hard to test for this.  Regardless, it makes no difference in his world or ours!  He is about 2 years old and 9 pounds - an adorable little chihuahua mix with the cutest ears! 

Peppy is just a sweet little guy.  we suspect Peppy may have a hearing deficit, that hasn’t slowed this happy go lucky boy down one bit. He plays with his foster siblings just like any other dog and follows their lead around the house. He may be small but he can play and wrestle like the rest of them.  Peppy has a spirit and spunk about him that keeps his foster family entertained for hours. Peppy gets along great with dogs, kids and adults.  He is great on a leash and in the car.  Peppy is crate trained too!  He is still working on his house training, but he's just about there.  Peppy knows exactly what to do when he goes out, you just have to let him out, Peppy won't tell you just yet.  With a little bit of work and consistency, we are fairly confident Peppy will pick it pretty quickly.  Peppy really seems to enjoy being outside, and will lay in the sun while you are busy doing yard work.  After a long day of play and sunning himself, Peppy enjoys laying on the couch next to his favorite person while they watch TV or read.  He is a very easy dog who will play with you or by himself if you are busy.  If you think Peppy is the one for you, make sure you apply.  A dog like him would fit in just about any home

Peppy is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  His adoption fee is $350
