Learn more about the American Eskimo Dog. Learn more about the Pug. Mandy is a 3 year old American Eskimo/ pug mix. She was surrendered to a local shelter and was so afraid there they reached out to rescue for help. She recently had puppies but they kept them and got rid of her. Grrrr. Mandy is just the sweetest dog once she gets to know you and wants nothing more then to have a stable life full of love. Since Mandy has been bounced around so much she is a little insecure and would do well in a quieter home with older or no kids. She is shy when initially meeting new people but warms up quickly. She loves her person and always wants to be at your side. She is crate trained and mostly housebroken. She has had a few accidents with the transition to her foster home but that is to be expected. Mandy needs slow introductions with other dogs as she’s very fearful of them and does better with small dogs. She loves to run and a fenced in yard will be considered first. Mandy does well on a leash and enjoys going for walks and car rides. We expect Mandy would be the perfect hiking partner as she seems to love that kind of adventure as long as she’s with her person. If you are interested in a wonderful little companion who’s has a rough start please consider her! Mandy is now spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated, and tested neg. to heartworm. Her adoption fee is $350
