Tiny little Toby!  He is about 5 years old and only 5 pounds. This dapper little chap was dumped at a park near a shelter.  Can you imagine?  He was so scared!

Toby is a sweet and lovable little dog.  He needs to take his time getting to know new people - he is not that trusting after all that has happened to him.  But once he feels safe and secure, he is loving and protective of his people.  He is very playful - a master of the game fetch!  Toby loves to go for walks and is king of the world as he prances along.  Toby is learning about housetraining - his fosters are working with him but he will need time and patience in his new home.  Toby gets along fine with other dogs and cats.  When Toby was found by a good Samaritan, he was very scared and nipped.  That is not a surprise at all but because of that, the shelter could not adopt him out and that is why he came to us.  To find the right home. No small children due to his history - 13+ and respectful will be fine.  Toby would love to make someone's home and life complete - he would love to explore the neighborhood with you and cuddle on the couch.  He just needs a little TLC and he will make your heart melt!

Toby is now neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm AND he has had a dental.  Toby will require grooming throughout his life so please take that into consideration.  His adoption fee is $400.  Please apply on our website if you think you could be his person!
